Hello, we’re Charlotte Doula Team–two experienced, compassionate birth doulas excited to support you during your unique birth journey. Working as a team, we offer personalized, collaborative care throughout your entire pregnancy, birth, and beyond. We provide you with evidence-based education, resources to feel confident in your choices, advocacy to ensure your preferences are understood, and physical and emotional support.
Benefits of the Team Approach
One of the greatest benefits of our team approach is that we utilize an on-call schedule to make certain that one of your doulas is always rested, ready and available to you when you’re ready to birth your baby. This gives you the peace of mind knowing that it is highly likely that someone who you’ve developed a relationship with (rather than a back-up) will support you and is familiar with your birthing preferences.
A doula team also guarantees you a fresh doula at your side—there are no time limits, even in the event of an extended labor. Should your doula begin to feel less capable of being fully present and alert, your other doula can jump in, offering new energy and ideas to support you and your partner. This ensures you receive the highest level of support at all times.

With more than 100 births between us, you can take advantage of all the experience and specialized knowledge each doula offers to your birth team. From the moment we become your team, both of your doulas stay in close contact with you and collaborate as a team about any special challenges or questions you may have.
